Marcus Webster

Marcus Webster is a Professor of Biology at St John's University since 1989, where responsibilities include instructing courses in Animal and Human Physiology, Environmental Science, Meteorology, and Introductory Biology, as well as serving as Director of Undergraduate Research. Prior to this role, Marcus held positions as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at UC Davis from 1986 to 1989, focusing on the foraging energetics of Verdins under the guidance of Dr. Wesley Weathers, and as an Assistant Professor of Biology at Franklin College of Indiana from 1983 to 1986, where teaching covered Comparative Animal Physiology and Environmental Science, along with conducting research in avian environmental physiology. Marcus also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at New Mexico State University in 1984. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Zoophysiology from Washington State University (1977-1983) and a BS in Biology from Lewis & Clark College (1974-1976).
