Courtney Hawkins

Courtney Hawkins, MSEd-HEA, currently serves as the Student Life Coordinator at the College of Southern Maryland since December 2022. Previously, Courtney gained experience as an instructional assistant at Calvert County Public Schools from September 2020 to December 2022 and completed a practicum internship at St. Mary's College of Maryland from January to June 2022. Courtney also held various educational roles, including long-term substitute teacher and substitute teacher at Calvert County Public Schools, as well as a resident assistant and other leadership positions during studies at North Carolina A&T State University. Prior to pursuing a career in education, Courtney worked as a Kellogg Sales Representative, managing multiple retail accounts and exceeding sales goals, alongside experience as a sales intern at Kellogg Company and a sales associate at Nike. Courtney holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina Central University and earned a bachelor's degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
