Rebecca McGregor

Rebecca McGregor is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Student Life Team Program Coordinator at the Rochester Institute of Technology since January 2023. Previously, McGregor worked as a Middle School Science Teacher at the Louisiana School for the Deaf from January 2016 to January 2023 and held paraprofessional roles at Rockford School Districts 205 and YMCA, focusing on supporting special needs and deaf students. Early career involvement includes a position as a Captionist Advocate at the Center for Disability Rights, where efforts centered on improving captioning services, and as an Assistant to the CEO at Galari Start Up Business, contributing to business development and marketing strategies. McGregor holds a Master of Education in Deaf Education from Gallaudet University and a Bachelor of Science in Professional & Technical Communications from Rochester Institute of Technology. Community engagement includes various leadership roles in the National Technical Institute for the Deaf Student Congress and volunteer work with the American Red Cross.
