Heather Albert-Knopp

Dean of Admission at College of the Atlantic

Heather Albert-Knopp has been Dean of Admission at College of the Atlantic since June 2010. Prior to that, they served as Sustainable Food Systems Program Administrator, coordinating, administering and implementing a $1 million grant-funded project to link College of the Atlantic (COA) with two new transatlantic partners: the Organic Research Centre/Elm Farm (UK), and the University of Kassel's Faculty of Organic Agriculture (Germany). Heather also worked as Farm to School Coordinator for Healthy Acadia, developing and coordinating farm-to-school efforts in eastern Maine, focusing on building sustainable purchasing relationships between farms and schools/institutions.

Heather Albert-Knopp has a BA in Human Ecology and Agricultural Ecology from the College of the Atlantic, and also studied Spanish at Swarthmore College.
