Joshua Abel

Joshua Abel is an experienced academic and consultant specializing in economics. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the College of the Holy Cross since June 2025, Joshua has previously held positions as a Visiting Lecturer at Harvard Kennedy School and as a Lecturer in Economics at Northeastern University. Joshua's background includes extensive consulting experience at Analysis Group and a role as a Graduate Fellow at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where significant research on mortgage refinancing and home selling behavior was conducted. Joshua's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Swarthmore College. Additionally, Joshua has contributed to research at the Harvard University and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
