Michele Murray

Michele Murray is currently the VP of Student Affairs & Dean of Students at the College of the Holy Cross. Michele has held this position since June of 2017. Prior to their current role, Michele was the Vice President for Student Development at Seattle University from July 2009 to June 2017. From January 2006 to December 2009, they served as the Assistant Vice President for Student Development at Seattle University. Michele began their career in 1996 as the Director of Leadership & New Student Programs at Loyola College in Maryland and held that position for 10 years before moving to Seattle University.

Michele Murray's educational career includes a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Maryland, a M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont, and a BA in Psychology, Rhetoric & Communication Studies from the University of Virginia.

Michele Murray works with Ann Marie Leshkowich - Interim Provost & Dean of the College, Christopher Hughes - AVP, Intercollegiate Athletics & Athletics Director, and Ilisa Hurowitz - Interim VP, Advancement. Michele Murray reports to Vincent D. Rougeau, President.
