Assistant Director Of Athletics / Strategic Communications at College of the Holy Cross

Sarah Kirkpatrick has a diverse work experience in the field of athletic communications and journalism. Sarah started their career as an intern at She's Game Sports in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a sportswriting intern at seattlepi.com, where they wrote news briefs and features related to Seattle-based teams. Sarah also worked as a sports correspondent at The Boston Globe, writing weekly high school and community sports feature stories.

From 2012 to 2016, Sarah had several roles at The Daily Free Press, including sports writer, associate sports editor, sports editor, and editor-in-chief. Sarah covered Boston University's men's hockey team, managed a team of writers, edited and fact-checked articles, and made final editorial decisions for the independent daily student newspaper.

Sarah joined Back Bay Publishing Company, Inc. in 2014 and held various positions, including Secretary and Chair of Awards, Chair of Legal, and Board Chairman. Sarah was responsible for taking minutes at meetings, voting on business decisions, and handling the newspaper's applications for journalism awards.

In 2016, Sarah became the Coordinator of Athletic Communications at American International College, where they served as the primary contact for the men's ice hockey program and other athletics programs. Sarah also managed the college's athletics and hockey social media accounts and developed a new social media strategy.

Currently, Sarah is working at the College of the Holy Cross. Sarah started as the Assistant Director of Athletics Media Relations in 2018 and later became the Associate Director. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Athletic Communications, overseeing the college's athletic communications department.

Sarah Kirkpatrick attended Boston University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.
