James A. Freeman

James A. Freeman has been the Director of Career Center at College of the Ozarks since May 2014. Prior to that, they were the General Education Specialist at Cox College from September 2011 to May 2014. There, they coached and advised students, and experienced 25 percent student enrollment growth in each of the past three years. James also led several committees, including the Leadership Development Program, Quality Improvement, Crisis Management Task Force, and Staff Senate.

From 2006 to 2010, Freeman was the Director at Shelterwood Academy. Then, from 2000 to 2006, they were the Vice President/Director at Discipleship Focus. Before that, they were the Owner/Operator of Lakeshore Resort from 1985 to 2000, and Attractions Supervisor at Silver Dollar from 1983 to 1985.

James A. Freeman has a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Evangel University and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting and Film from the University of Central Missouri.
