Sara Osborne

Sara Osborne is an experienced educator currently serving as an Assistant Professor of English and the Director of Classical Education at the College of the Ozarks since August 2012. Additionally, Sara holds the position of Associate Fellow at the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology in Cambridge starting in May 2024. Previous roles include staff writer at The Classical Thistle from March 2017 to June 2024, missionary with Converge Worldwide from August 2008 to June 2009, and director of the Intensive English Program at the University of the Cumberlands from August 2006 to December 2007. Sara has also worked as an ESL instructor at the University of Louisville and Carson-Newman University, and as an ESL student teacher at Hamline University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in TESL from Carson-Newman University, a TEFL Certificate from Hamline University, and a Bachelor's degree in English and Political Science from Carson-Newman University. Currently, Sara is pursuing further studies at Union Theological College (Belfast) expected to continue until 2025.
