Steven Rothberg

Steven Rothberg has been working in the field of recruitment and job search since 1991. Steven began their career as a President and Founder of Adguide Publications, where they published a map of the University of Manitoba and generated revenue from the sale of advertising around the borders. Steven then moved on to Laventhol & Horwath as a Management Information Systems Consultant Intern, where they worked on-site to convert a non-profit dairy from manual to computerized accounting system. In 1986, they worked as a Human Resources Information Systems Consultant for Home Retail Group PLC (Argos). In 1989, they were hired by Honeywell as a Law Clerk to assist the in-house attorney who headed up Honeywell's efforts to re-write its flexible benefits plans. In 1991, they were a Judicial Law Clerk for the State of Minnesota. In the same year, they founded College Recruiter job search site and served as both the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer, as well as President and Founder. In 2021, they began hosting the Inside Job Boards and Recruitment Marketplaces Podcast, and in 2022, they began hosting the High Volume Hiring Podcast.

Steven Rothberg began their education at Laidlaw School from 1972 to 1980. Steven then attended Shaftesbury High School from 1980 to 1982, followed by The University of Winnipeg from 1982 to 1984, where they studied Fantasy Hockey Pool and Other General Mischief. Steven then moved on to the University of Manitoba from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a B.Comm (Honors) in Finance and Marketing. Finally, they completed their education by earning a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Minnesota from 1988 to 1991.
