Arun Ponnusamy

Arun Ponnusamy serves as the Chief Academic Officer and owner of Collegewise, the largest private college counseling company in the United States, since 2004. In this role, Ponnusamy develops best practices for counselors assisting students and parents through the college admissions process and establishes partnerships with various organizations globally. Previous experience includes positions as an Application Reader at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2005 to 2007, Assistant Director of Admissions at Caltech from 2002 to 2004, and Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Chicago from 1994 to 1998. Arun Ponnusamy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Chicago, earned between 1990 and 1994.
