Arielle Hunter has a varied work experience spanning different industries and roles. Arielle started their career as a Peer Mentor and Resident Assistant at the University of New Orleans while also working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Arielle then joined teachNOLA as part of a Fellowship program aimed at improving student achievement. Arielle has also worked as an Elementary/Middle School teacher at Baptise Christian Academy and as a High School Science (Biology) Teacher at Helen Cox High School.
Arielle's experience in education continued as they served as the Academic Director at The Notre Dame School, where they coordinated the development of Nicaragua's first International Baccalaureate certified bilingual school. Arielle later joined Collegiate Academies as the Director of Science Curriculum and Implementation, where they designed and facilitated professional development for teachers and supported the implementation of curriculum resources.
Additionally, Arielle has been involved in the fitness industry, having worked as a CrossFit Competitor and CrossFit Instructor at CrossFit and CrossFit FE respectively. Arielle also gained experience in emergency medicine through a training program at Delgado Community College.
