Jason Nairn

Dr. Jason Nairn provides day-to-day operational oversight of the Collegis security and asset management team, which supports the entire Collegis partnership portfolio. Additionally, he acts as virtual CIO for several of Collegis’s partners. Dr. Nairn’s priorities include maximizing the effectiveness of technologies to enhance teaching, learning and business outcomes as well as fostering satisfying technology relationships with students, faculty and staff. Further, he provides leadership on the critical importance of maintaining the security and integration of institutional data.

Prior to joining the Collegis team, Dr. Nairn spent six years as a course designer, associate professor and chief information officer at Concordia University – Portland. He also enjoyed a 14-year career at the State of Michigan Department of Technology Management and Budget, serving as the director of infrastructure protection.
