Scott Thursby has an extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology and Information Security. Scott's career also includes roles such as Director of Information Technology at Thermo Fisher Scientific, I.T. Operations Manager at ACS Services, Inc., Regional Systems Manager at Perot Systems Government Services, Director of IT at Mulberry Childcare & Preschool, Server Systems Manager at The Boston Consulting Group, and Manager of End User Services at Corporate Software & Technology.

Scott Thursby attended Massasoit Community College from 1988 to 1990, achieving an Associates of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Scott then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Multi-disciplinary Studies at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 1990 to 1992, focusing on Management Information Systems, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering Technology. In 1993 and 1994, Scott attended the Massachusetts Military Academy at Camp Edwards, Bourne, MA, to study Military and Strategic Leadership as an Officer Candidate. Later, in 2008 and 2009, they obtained a Process Manager Certification from Practical Process Improvement (PPI), and in 2010, they earned a Project Management Certification - CIPM from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, Scott has acquired several industry certifications, including CISM Cert Prep, How to Lead and Inspire Change, and IT Service Management Foundations.
