Prasad Kantamneni

Prasad Kantamneni has had a diverse range of work experience in the fields of technology, research, and consulting. Prasad started their career at the Human Computer Interaction Laboratory as a Research Assistant, where they developed a patented system for understanding user needs. Prasad then worked as a Research Scientist at Honeywell Laboratories, applying Human Centered design techniques to improve products and user interfaces.

In 2002, Prasad became a Consultant, working with non-profits to enhance their outreach efforts through the internet. Prasad'swork was recognized with a UN award. Prasad later joined Wright State University as a Staff Researcher and Principal Investigator, focusing on managing change in emerging markets and collaborating with Lexis Nexis on the Personal Knowledge Base project.

Prasad then joined Yahoo! Inc as a Staff Researcher, leading research and design efforts for Yahoo! Core Web Search. Prasad managed a multinational team and contributed to the improvement of search experience and monetization.

In 2011, Prasad took on the role of Chair for the Technology Incubation Program at Bhagavatula Charitable Trust, where they investigated ways to generate scale in rural communities through technology.

Prasad also worked as an Independent Consultant, dedicating 20% of their time to consulting on interesting projects. One notable project involved managing change and providing strategic support during a transition to a new ERP platform at Ocean India Private Ltd.

Prasad's most recent roles include being the CEO and Founding Partner at UXReactor, a company they co-founded in 2014. Prasad is also the Chief Instructor of Collej (formerly UXDAcademy), where they manage a user experience design academy in Hyderabad, India with the goal of creating world-class designers.
