Susan Flynn

Susan remains a Senior Advisor to Coller Capital.

Susan re-joined Coller Capital in 2011 from Hermes Private Equity, where she was CEO and headed the £2bn private equity and infrastructure funds-of-funds investment programme.

During Susan’s earlier spell as a Partner at Coller Capital, from 2003-07, she was an Investment Partner focused on the origination, execution and monitoring of investments in Europe.

Prior to this, from 1995 to 2003, Susan worked for the General Motors (GM) pension plan in London and New York, where she helped establish the international private equity programme. She was also CEO of General Motors Asset Management (UK), with overall responsibility for GM’s UK pension plan assets.

Before joining GM, Susan spent six years with Rothschild Asset Management in London as a member of the life sciences private equity group.

Susan has a BSc in Pure Mathematics and Geography from Sheffield University, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte.
