John Merriman

John Merriman is an accomplished filmmaker and actor with extensive experience in the film and entertainment industry. At Collier Talent Agency since 2008, Merriman has written, directed, produced, and acted in over twenty-five short films and fifteen feature films, achieving recognition at major international film festivals such as Sundance and Tribeca. Previous positions include Film/TV Curation Training Lead at Welocalize and Menlo Technologies, where training materials were developed for inaugural cohorts. Merriman also contributed to Facebook as a founding team member of the Events curation team and led the curation of pop culture and comedy channels. Engagements with SXSW and Austin Film Festival involved programming, promoting events, and facilitating interviews with comedians. Merriman holds a BA in Psychology from Connecticut College.
