Rafael Martínez Ames

Rafael Martínez Ames is a seasoned professional in real estate and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Real Estate at ATISA GROUP since January 2017, overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and property management for the Atisa Industrial Portfolio. Prior to this role, Rafael was the Engineering Manager for MMREIT Property Administration, leading project management for FIBRA Macquarie in Mexico's industrial sector. Rafael's experience also includes a tenure as Director at TESKA, where Rafael implemented Building Information Modeling and sustainability strategies, and a foundational role as an Engineer at ATISA GROUP, contributing to earthwork engineering and infrastructure design. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Structural Engineer at VP Buildings, where Rafael reviewed steel structure designs for numerous industrial buildings across the U.S. Rafael holds a Civil Engineering degree from Tecnológico de Monterrey and advanced coursework at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
