Bill King

Bill King has been working in the education sector for the past 8 years, most recently as Interim Executive Vice President at Collin College. Prior to that, they were Executive Director of Facilities and Construction at Tyler Junior College from July 2008 to September 2016. Bill has also worked in the private sector, as a Supply Chain Manager (Factory Manager) at Nestlé Waters North America from October 2001 to July 2008, and as a Plant Engineering Manager at Russell Stover Candies from April 1996 to October 2001.

Bill King's educational career began at Trinity Valley Community College, where they studied pre-engineering. Bill then transferred to Texas A&M University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering. After working for several years, they returned to school and earned a Master of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. Bill then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in educational administration (higher education) at Texas A&M University.
