Justin Johnson

Justin Johnson has extensive work experience in program management and engineering roles in the aerospace industry. Justin started their career in the United States Air Force, where they worked as a Contracting Specialist, managing contracts worth over $20 million annually. Justin then joined Airborne Systems as a Design Engineer, developing parachute recovery systems for various projects. Justin later transitioned into a Project Manager role at the same company, providing technical direction and leadership on aerospace programs and contributing to business development efforts.

After their time at Airborne Systems, Justin joined Atkins as a Senior Program Manager, where they were responsible for managing the Seattle office and overseeing the implementation of Program Management Standards and Procedures for AS9100 certification. Justin played a key role in the growth of the office, which eventually had a headcount of 102 employees and four additional Program Managers.

Following their stint at Atkins, Justin worked at Meggitt as the Head of Programs/Client Portfolio Manager. In this role, they governed program management policies and procedures, interviewed clients to align their long-term needs with Meggitt's capabilities, and supervised bid management, product introduction, and long-term product supply.

More recently, Justin worked as a Consulting Program Manager and Government Contract Consultant. Justin specialized in setting up Program Management Offices and creating best practices, with a particular focus on Government Contracts in the Aerospace Industry. Justin also had expertise in AS9100 certification.

Currently, Justin is employed at Collinear Group as a Senior Systems Engineer.

Justin Johnson completed their first degree in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering, as well as Business Management, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Justin attended the university from 1998 to 2003. Later, Justin pursued a Masters of Business Management in Business Management for the Aerospace Industry from the same university, completing it from 2008 to 2011.
