Director Of Risk Management And Clinical Services at COLLINGWOOD GENERAL AND MARINE HOSPITAL

Bronwen Edgar has extensive work experience in risk management and clinical services. Bronwen is currently the Director of Risk Management and Clinical Services at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital since December 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre from 2007 to 2020, where they served as the Risk Manager and the Infection Prevention & Control Coordinator. Before Sunnybrook, they worked at KFL&A Public Health as an Epidemiologist from 2005 to 2007. Bronwen also has experience as a Research Assistant at BCCDC and the Public Health Agency of Canada in 2004.

Bronwen Edgar completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology with a co-op program at the University of Guelph from 1997 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a Master of Health Sciences degree in Community Health and Epidemiology at the University of Toronto from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Bronwen obtained a certification in Infection Control and Epidemiology (CIC) from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc., although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
