Nitin Chandola

Nitin Chandola is a Principal Engineer at Collins Aerospace since February 2022, with a solid background in mechanical engineering. Nitin has previously held positions as a Research Engineer and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Florida from August 2014 to May 2022, as well as a Research Assistant at the same institution from January 2010 to May 2014. Nitin's academic credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, where research focused on modeling deformation and failure behavior of magnesium and titanium alloys. Nitin also completed a summer internship at General Motors in 2011, working on finite element models for forming AZ31 Magnesium alloy sheets. Prior research experience includes simulations of deformation in single crystals of nickel-based superalloys as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida from May 2008 to December 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and Savitribai Phule Pune University, respectively.
