Ray Essig, MBA, PMP, currently serves as Chief Engineer for Space Systems and Launch Vehicles at Collins Aerospace, leading engineering efforts across 13 programs focused on advancements in uncrewed space vehicles and associated technologies. With extensive experience at Pratt & Whitney, Ray effectively managed multiple military engine programs and contributed to strategic planning and business development initiatives. Previous roles include Operations Manager for the F135 Program, Customer Support Engineering Manager for the F119 Program, and various engineering positions at Lockheed Martin and the Naval Aviation Warfare Center. An accomplished academic, Ray holds an MBA in Business Administration and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, along with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
