Jose Barrantes

Jose Barrantes, M.Eng, EIT, is a skilled structural design project engineer currently employed at Collins Engineers, Inc. since November 2022. With prior experience at Terracon as a construction inspector and at Rotho Blaas srl as a technical sales representative, Jose has demonstrated an ability to enhance structural performance through B2B sales and client relationship management. Previous roles include project engineer at IDECO Ingeniería Desarrollo y Construcción S.A., where management of a public school construction project occurred, and construction project engineer at CEMEX, overseeing residential projects while improving budgets and profitability. Jose holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica and is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
