Sebastian Kittel

Sebastian Kittel is the Managing Director of Collinson Insurance Europe Limited (CIEL), with a tenure from December 2018 to the present, where responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations and serving on the Underwriting and Claims Committee as well as the Risk and Compliance Committee. Prior to this role, Sebastian held positions as General Manager and Consultant within Collinson, contributing to the establishment and licensing of its EU insurance entities. Earlier experience includes over a decade at Munich Re, focusing on health reinsurance underwriting for the Middle East and Africa, along with other consultancy and accounting roles. Initial career steps included an apprenticeship at Allianz and an internship at Swiss Re. Sebastian Kittel holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from the University of Chester and an LL.M. in Insurance Law from the University of Hamburg, among others.
