James started their career as an Assurance Associate at RSM US LLP in 2013 and later moved up to become a Senior Assurance Associate. James then joined Invesco Ltd. as a Tax Accountant II in 2015 and MUFG Investor Services as a Senior Fund Accountant in 2017. In 2018, James joined Colmore as an Associate, where they gained experience in fund accounting and eventually became a Senior Associate. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President - Fund Accounting at Colmore. James has a comprehensive understanding of financial processes and has developed strong analytical and reporting skills throughout their career.
James Silva, CPA holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Angelo State University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, they also completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting at the same university during the same period. In addition to their academic achievements, they are recognized as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
