Scott Miguel Diamond

Scott Miguel Diamond is an associate in the litigation practice group at Colodny Fass focusing his practice on first party property insurance defense litigation.

Mr. Diamond earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University. After earning his bachelor’s degree, he worked in banking, collections and foreclosure law. Mr. Diamond continued his education to earn his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. While attending Nova Southeastern University, he received Dean’s List honors and was an active member of the First Generation Law School Professionals Society and the Health Law Society.

Mr. Diamond was born in Colombia and raised in South Florida. He has lived in the Caribbean, South America, Central America and Asia, and is fluent in Spanish. Mr. Diamond is a third-generation veteran, who served proudly in operations and administration roles with the United States Marine Corps.

Since joining Colodny Fass, Mr. Diamond has used his diverse background and legal expertise to defend property insurers throughout South Florida in first-party coverage matters where many of the claims involve windstorm and water losses.
