Andrea Ellis-Perez

Andrea Ellis-Perez, MFA, is an experienced writing professional currently serving as the Writing Excellence Coordinator and Technical Writing Team Lead at Colombo & Hurd since August 2021. In this role, Andrea provides training to enhance legal documentation quality, coordinates department improvements, and leads a team of writers in ensuring documentation accuracy. Previous positions include Immigration Technical Writer II and I, where Andrea specialized in legal documentation for USCIS submissions and collaborated with legal professionals. Additional experience includes serving as Managing Editor at Burrow Press, Contracted Copywriter at Digitally Found, LLC, and Content Writer at MyCity Social. Andrea holds a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Stetson University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Virginia.
