David Andrew began their career at Eckerd Drugs as an HR Operations Representative and District Training Coordinator. In 1999, they joined the Chattanooga Housing Authority as the Director of Human Resources, overseeing HR functions for 140 employees across multiple locations. During their tenure, they handled employee relations, recruitment, compensation, training, and strategic planning. In 2014, Lawrence joined Colonial Chemical, Inc. as the Director of Human Resources, where they were responsible for leading and developing the HR department to ensure legal compliance and align with the organization's talent strategy. David Andrew supervised staff, managed daily workflow, and played a key role in recruitment and training.
David Andrew Lawrence holds a Master's Degree in I/O (Industrial and Organizational) Human Resources, which they obtained from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. David Andrew completed their Master's Degree program from 1992 to 1995.
