Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Nathan currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales at Colonial Chemical Solutions, Inc. and has been serving in this role since January 2023. Prior to this, Nathan worked at Univar Solutions, where they held two positions. Nathan was a Product Marketing Director from July 2021 to August 2022, responsible for managing a team of product development professionals and overseeing marketing, branding, sales training, and procurement. Before that, they served as a Senior Product Marketing Manager from November 2019 to June 2021, overseeing product management and pricing for the business unit.

Before joining Univar Solutions, Nathan worked at Huntsman Corporation, where they held two roles. Nathan was a Sales Development Manager from July 2019 to November 2019 and was responsible for coaching the sales team and managing strategic customers. Prior to that, they served as a Sales Excellence Manager from October 2017 to June 2019, focusing on sales process discipline, standard operating procedures, and training guidelines.

Earlier in their career, Nathan worked at Natural Polymers, LLC as the VP of Sales & Marketing from June 2016 to October 2017. In this role, they directed sales team efforts, managed brand awareness, and prepared marketing campaigns. Before that, they worked at Huntsman Corporation as a Key Account Manager from August 2008 to May 2016, where they managed strategic accounts and handled product management responsibilities.

Nathan began their career at Welch Packaging, where they worked as a Sales Representative, Staff Mentor, and Management Trainee from June 2004 to August 2008. Nathan excelled in this role and was ranked as one of the top three sales representatives in the organization.
