Richard Burns

Richard Burns is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in customer experience and marketing across various financial services and consumer products. Currently serving as the Group Executive of the Customer Office at Colonial First State since October 2024, Richard previously held prominent leadership roles at CommSec, including Managing Director and General Manager of Customer Experience. Additional experience includes positions at Aussie and E*TRADE Australia, where Richard focused on customer service and product development. Richard's career began in marketing management roles at McKechnie Consumer Products and Hall & Co, and Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Marketing from UNSW.
