Colonial Heights Public Schools
Adrienne Wilson is an experienced Special Education Teacher with a professional background spanning several educational institutions. Since August 2021, Adrienne has been serving at Colonial Heights Public Schools, following a tenure at Chesterfield County Public Schools from July 2020 to June 2021, and previous positions at Campbell County School District, Altavista Combined School, and New Vistas School. Adrienne holds a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Teaching from Lynchburg College and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Education from Central Virginia Community College. In addition to a strong teaching background, Adrienne has experience in the hospitality industry as a server and has also contributed to community media as a volunteer Morning Show Co-Host at 93.7 KHF.

The five schools in Colonial Heights City Public Schools include three elementary schools - Lakeview Elementary School, North Elementary School, and Tussing Elementary School - and Colonial Heights Middle School and Colonial Heights High School. All schools are accredited by the Virginia Board of Education and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school division achieved District Accreditation under AdvancED.
