Colonial Heights Public Schools
Ray Sells is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Colonial Heights Public Schools since August 2016, specializing in Driver Education and Health & Physical Education for 9th and 10th grades. Prior to this, Ray Sells worked as an Assistant to the Foreman at Johnson & Glazier Construction Company, Inc. during the summer of 2021, contributing to the installation of various distribution systems. Ray Sells holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Old Dominion University, completed in May 2014, and an Advanced Diploma from Benedictine College Preparatory, earned in June 2008.

The five schools in Colonial Heights City Public Schools include three elementary schools - Lakeview Elementary School, North Elementary School, and Tussing Elementary School - and Colonial Heights Middle School and Colonial Heights High School. All schools are accredited by the Virginia Board of Education and by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school division achieved District Accreditation under AdvancED.
