Nico Arellano

Nico Arellano is a dedicated special education professional and soccer coach with extensive experience in both fields. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher and former Teacher Assistant at Seattle Public Schools since December 2016, Nico specializes in supporting students with critical medical needs. In the realm of soccer, Nico holds the position of Head Soccer Coach at both Washington Rush and Edmonds College, where responsibilities include leading the intercollegiate women's program and recruiting academically eligible athletes. Previous coaching roles include Head Soccer Coach at Seattle United and Sound FC, as well as a Behavioral Health Specialist at ResCare, where Nico worked with autistic students to ensure the success of their individual education plans. Nico's educational background includes a Master of Education in Special Education from Seattle Pacific University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an Associate of Arts from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
