Chris Smith

Chris Smith, PMP, serves as the Vice President of People & Communications at Colonial Pipeline Company since July 2018, where responsibilities include leading multiple HR Centers of Expertise, overseeing strategic programs for employee health and wellbeing, and implementing technology-focused HR processes. Prior roles at Colonial Pipeline Company include Chief of Staff & Senior Director of People Technology and Process Improvement, and Director of People Technology & Business Intelligence. Previously, Chris held significant positions at AXIS Capital, AIG, Oracle, Dynegy, Inc., and Accenture, managing HR technology integration, strategic initiatives, and enterprise-wide solutions. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Florida State University.
