Stephen Perkins CEC, AAC is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in various executive chef roles across multiple prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Executive Chef in the Historic Area at Colonial Williamsburg Company since August 2021, Stephen has also held significant positions such as Executive Chef at Waypoint Seafood and Grill from June 2016 to August 2022, and during tenure at the Culinary Institute of Virginia from July 2010 to June 2016, acted as a Competition Team Coach. Previous roles include Executive Chef at Marriott (2008-2010), Chef d Cuisine at Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (2006-2008), Executive Chef at Marriott Waterside (2006-2008), and Executive Chef at Princess Anne Country Club (2003-2006), where design innovations were implemented in the clubhouse kitchen. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Administration/Management from the Culinary Institute of Virginia (2011-2014) and an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from The Culinary Institute of America (1985-1987).
