Teresa Johnson is a seasoned professional in consumer experience and healthcare engagement, currently serving as a founding team member at Sunny since January 2023. In addition to this role, Teresa holds advisory positions at Engagys LLC and Clarity Software Solutions, Inc., and is an active member of the Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation. Teresa is also a board member at the Colonie Youth Center and the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company. Prior experience includes a long tenure at CDPHP from 1999 to 2022, where Teresa ascended to the role of Senior Vice President of Consumer Experience Solutions, driving product development and sales innovation. Teresa's educational background includes an Executive Scholar Designation from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Science in Organization Management from The Sage Colleges-Sage Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Siena College.

The Colonie Youth Center, Inc. (CYC) is a private not-for-profit 501c3 organization whose vision is to provide children and their families with programs and services designed to enhance the quality of their lives with an overall focus on achieving personal wellness. CYC offers a wide range of opportunities from sports, fitness, and recreation at our Rudy A. Ciccotti Family Recreation Center; to free and reduced rate child, family and student counseling services; to affordable school age child care and summer day camp programs. CYC strives to provide all of our services to children and families regardless of their ability to pay. Currently CYC provides a limited amount of resources to our scholarship fund to assist those less fortunate families in need of our school age child care or counseling services . For school age child care CYC offers safe quality care on a sliding scale fee structure for struggling working families so they are able to continue working to meet their daily needs while knowing their children are well cared for. For counseling needs CYC offers safe quality care on a sliding scale fee structure for struggling working families so they are able to continue working to meet their daily needs while knowing their children are well cared for. For counseling needs CYC offers both free and discounted services to those families who would otherwise not be able to afford the help and support they and their children might desperately need. This year alone CYC has awarded nearly $110,000.00 in financial assistance to families in need of these 2 important services.
