Doug McCollough has been in the IT industry since 1999. Doug began their career as a Project Manager at Lucent Technologies. In 2006, they moved to the Ohio Department of Public Safety as a Project Manager. In 2007, they were promoted to Deputy CIO at the Ohio Department of Commerce. In 2010, they took on the role of Director of Information Technology (CIO) at the Industrial Commission of Ohio. In 2011, they were a Project Manager at Modis. In 2013, they became a Sr. Program Manager at the State of Ohio Department of Medicaid. In 2014, they were appointed as the Director of Information Technology at the City of Richmond, Virginia. In 2015, they were appointed as the CIO at the City of Dublin, Ohio USA, where they directed the 100 gigabit transport network implementation and extended Dublink fiber optic system into the Dublin City Schools District. In 2019, they were appointed to the Mid-Ohio Regional Data Advisory Committee at the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission. In 2020, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer at Color Coded Labs.

Doug McCollough's education history includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business from 2001 to 2003, a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Toledo in Information Systems and Operations Management from 1995 to 1999, and jazz composition studies at Berklee College of Music from 1985 to 1989. Doug also has taken courses at Global Knowledge and attended Southfield High School.
