Tyler Watlington, MD, MSPH has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Tyler began their career at Children's Hospital Colorado in 1994 as a General Pediatrician, where they currently work at their Newborn Nursery one day a week. In 2012, they took on the role of Physician Liaison for Medical Staff Services, implementing a quality improvement program called Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation. During this time, they also served as the Chairman of the Credentials Committee. Additionally, they worked as a Physician Analyst and Liaison for EMR Implementation, providing support for the implementation of the Clinical EMR system and bridging the gap between IT and clinical staff. In 2016, they joined Colorado Access, a Medicaid Accountable Care Organization, as a Medical Director. In this role, they provide clinical leadership and oversight for various clinical functions and builds relationships with contracted practices.

Tyler Watlington, MD, MSPH completed their education in a chronological order. They attended Dartmouth College from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in French Language and Literature. After that, they enrolled at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from 1985 to 1989. Finally, Tyler Watlington completed their education at UCHealth from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a Masters of Science and Public Health (MSPH) degree.
