Scott Peterson

Scott Peterson serves as the General Counsel for the Colorado Association of REALTORS® since January 2015, providing legal counsel to a membership of 24,000. Prior to this position, Scott was a Commercial Real Estate Broker at Counsel Realty Group, LLC and practiced as an attorney with Counsel Law Group, LLC from 2008 to 2015, focusing on real estate, corporate, and estate planning transactions. Scott also held leadership roles as President of the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors and as Director/General Counsel at Ringsby Terminals Inc. Earlier in the career, Scott was an Associate Director at Cushman & Wakefield and an attorney at Messner Reeves LLP. Scott holds a BS in Political Science and Government from the University of Southern California and a JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
