Grace Mainwaring

Grace Mainwaring is a dedicated physical therapist with extensive experience in patient rehabilitation and individualized treatment plans. Currently employed at the Colorado Center of Orthopaedic Excellence since April 2021, Grace prepares tailored strategies to enhance patients' physical functioning and well-being, and collaborates with dietitians and mental health professionals as needed. Prior to this role, Grace worked at the Colorado Institute of Sports Medicine, where evaluations and treatments catered to a diverse clientele, including elite athletes and veterans, with a focus on postoperative care. Academic experience includes serving as a research assistant at the University of Rhode Island, where presentations on muscle physiology were delivered to physical therapy students. Grace also holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences from The George Washington University. Additional earlier experience includes roles as a personal trainer and office associate.
