Austin Chappell

Austin Chappell currently serves as the Director of Planned Giving at Colorado College, starting in June 2023. Prior to this role, Austin worked as a Senior Consultant at Sharpe Group, assisting nonprofits in raising substantial gifts. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Development at Texas Woman's University, focusing on major gift management and partnerships, and a Major Gifts Officer at Southern Methodist University, managing major gift solicitations. Austin has extensive experience at the University of North Texas, where roles ranged from Director of Development, overseeing planned gifts and major gift strategies, to Assistant Director for Special Events, and Coordinator for Student Affairs Administration. Austin holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas Tech University.
