Elizabeth Erickson

Elizabeth Erickson currently serves as the Technical Director for Geology at Colorado College, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Elizabeth conducted research and taught at UC Santa Barbara from September 2015 to August 2023, where duties included designing and instructing the course "Earth 10 - Antarctica." Prior experience includes roles as a Lead Wellsite Geologist and Training and HSE Safety Manager at Columbine Logging, Inc., and contributions to agricultural research at Kansas State University Northwest Research-Extension Center. Elizabeth’s academic background includes a PhD in Geological and Earth Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and a BA in Geology and Environmental Studies from Cornell College, where Elizabeth also engaged in teaching and research opportunities.
