Jamal Westry

Jamal Westry is an experienced professional with a diverse background in facilities management, restaurant operations, claims adjustment, technical support, military training, and project management. Currently serving as the Housing and Facilities Manager at Colorado College since March 2022, Jamal oversees the maintenance and safety of housing facilities, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic planning skills. Previous experience includes ownership of a fast casual BBQ restaurant, providing customer service and managing operations, and working as an Auto Adjuster at USAA, handling a range of auto claims. Additionally, Jamal has held various roles in the United States Air Force, including Academy Military Trainer and Project Manager, where expertise in military standards and construction project coordination was paramount. Jamal holds multiple degrees, including an upcoming Master of Arts in Leadership Student Affairs in Higher Education and a Master of Science in Information Technology Project Management.
