Manya Whitaker

Manya Whitaker currently serves as the Interim President, Professor of Education, and Chief of Staff at Colorado College, where Manya has held various leadership roles since February 2019, including Executive Vice President and Director of Graduate Studies. In their capacity as Chief of Staff, Manya acts as the President's principal advisor and represents the President's views to various stakeholders. Manya has a strong focus on improving urban education and engages students in diverse contexts. Additionally, Manya founded Blueprint Educational Strategies, working as an Educational Consultant to support culturally and linguistically diverse families. Manya holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Vanderbilt University and a BA in Educational Psychology from Dartmouth College.
