Rakim Johnson

Rakim Johnson currently serves as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Colorado College, focusing on enhancing inclusivity on campus. Previous roles include Student Supervisor and Periodicals Student Assistant, facilitating library operations and a positive workplace culture, and Peer Educator, where workshops on ADEI topics were developed. Experience also encompasses a Fellowship at Catamount Institute, aimed at connecting marginalized youth to outdoor activities, and a Research Fellowship at Sachs Foundation, providing diversity-focused recommendations for library collections. Additional positions include serving as a counselor at Crossroads MA, leadership roles in local government as Chair and Councilperson for the City of Brockton, and customer service at Shaw's Supermarkets. Rakim Johnson is pursuing education at Colorado College, having obtained a Wilderness First Responder Certification from NOLS.
