Shauna Brazil has a diverse range of work experience. Shauna began at United Way of Larimer County in 2011 as an intern, where they were responsible for tasks such as placing thank you calls to donors and updating donor information. In 2012, they interned at Kronke Sports, specifically with the Colorado Rapids Soccer Team. Later that year, they worked as a Sales Associate at The Limited, focusing on enhancing the customer experience. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Mortgage Loan Specialist at Colorado Credit Union, specializing in 2nd mortgages. Shauna then became an Assistant Branch Manager, providing guidance and assistance to branch office employees. In 2017, they took on the role of Director of Lending and Member Experience, where they implemented lending programs and managed the Member Experience department. Recently, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Lending at Colorado Credit Union. Throughout their career, Shauna has gained experience in various areas such as credit risk assessment, member service, and leadership. Shauna also had a role as an Office Assistant at the Office of University Advancement in Colorado State University from 2009 to 2012.

Shauna also holds certifications such as Western CUNA Management School - v.8 (2020-2023) from WESTERN CUNA MANAGEMENT SCHOOL. Colorado Credit Union was chartered in 1973 when about 35 Johns Manville employees gathered their funds together and started the credit union, a member owned financial cooperative. We grew rapidly, serving only employees, retirees and family members of Johns Manville. In 1998, we decided to open our membership to other employer groups and associations, realizing the need to grow and help more people with their finances. We changed our name from Johns Manville Credit Union to Colorado Credit Union in 2005, to better reflect our diverse membership. We continue to be the bank of choice for the majority of Johns Manville employees and retirees. We've also become the primary financial institution for thousands of other people as well. Colorado Credit Union has nearly the highest ratio of assets and loan balances per member of any credit union our size in the U.S. We help many people with their borrowing needs as well as helping people accumulate wealth with our outstanding savings products.
