Joshua Quick

Joshua Quick currently serves as the Director of Professional Practice and State Education Policy at the Colorado Education Association, a position held since 2018, where responsibilities include monitoring activities of the State Board of Education and the Colorado Department of Education and advocating for educators' voices in decision-making. Prior to this role, Joshua Quick worked as a French teacher at Thornton High School within the Adams 12 Five Star Schools from 2016 to 2018, and as a French teacher at Hinkley and Rangeview High Schools in Aurora Public Schools from 2010 to 2016, utilizing strategic planning and data analysis to enhance student learning. Early career experiences included serving as a Resource Counselor and TRiO Advisor at Lamar Community College and as a French teacher and school administrator in Huntsville City Schools from 2002 to 2007. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor's degree in French with an English cognate from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
