Katrina Weitzel, CMP, currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO at The Colorado Education Initiative and has a robust background in executive support and event management. With experience at the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Katrina has excelled in coordinating scheduling, travel, and special projects. Previous roles include Director of Project Management at BuildingDNA, where responsibilities included process development and customer care, and Director of Events at Civica Management, managing event planning for multiple organizations. Katrina also has experience in administrative positions for the Consulate General of Canada and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, showcasing a strong blend of logistical and management skills. Katrina holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from the University of Colorado.
