Ceyl Prinster, CFA, has extensive work experience in the field of community development finance and nonprofit lending. Ceyl started their career in 1980 as a Commercial Loan Officer and Training Officer at United Bank of Denver. From 1987 until the present, they have served as the President and CEO of Colorado Enterprise Fund, a nationally recognized nonprofit lending institution. During their tenure, they have facilitated the delivery of capital to over 9,400 businesses, deployed over $246 million in loans and grants, and impacted over 30,000 jobs. In addition, they have contributed to the field of community development finance as a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Coalition of Community Development Financial Institutions. Ceyl is also active in the community as a member of the Board of Trustees for The Denver Foundation and as a Trustee and former President of the Alumni Association at the University of Notre Dame. Recently, they joined the Community Advisory Council at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
Ceyl Prinster, CFA holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theology from the University of Notre Dame. Furthermore, they pursued coursework for a Masters in Theology at Vanderbilt University. In addition, they completed non-degree coursework in business and accounting at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Ceyl Prinster also obtained the CFA Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in 1983.
